Queda de balão na Avenida Brasil causa engarrafamento na Zona Oeste

Um balão caiu na manhã desta terça-feira (24) na pista sentido Centro da Avenida Brasil, na altura de Deodoro, Zona Oeste do Rio, e provocou um grande congestionamento na região. O material ficou preso em uma árvore, atrapalhando o fluxo de veículos.

A Polícia Militar informou que uma equipe do Comando de Policiamento Ambiental (CPAm) foi acionada para o local. Os agentes removeram o balão e atuaram para restabelecer o tráfego, que foi impactado pelo incidente.

Soltar balões é crime ambiental, e a pena para quem fabrica, vende, transporta ou solta balões pode chegar a três anos de prisão, além de uma multa mínima de R$ 10 mil. A população pode fazer denúncias sobre a soltura de balões pelo telefone (21) 2253-1177.

O caso reforça a importância de conscientizar a sociedade sobre os riscos da prática ilegal, que, além de ser crime, pode causar acidentes graves.
