STF forma maioria para condenar Bolsonaro em ação sobre tentativa de golpe

A Primeira Turma do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF) formou, nesta quinta-feira (11), maioria de votos pela condenação do ex-presidente Jair Bolsonaro e de mais sete aliados no processo que apura uma suposta tentativa de golpe de Estado.

O voto decisivo foi da ministra Cármen Lúcia, que acompanhou os ministros Alexandre de Moraes e Flávio Dino. O placar está em 3 a 1 pela condenação, restando ainda o voto do ministro Cristiano Zanin.

O ministro Luiz Fux havia votado pela absolvição de Bolsonaro e de cinco aliados, optando pela condenação apenas do ex-ajudante de ordens Mauro Cid e do general Braga Netto.

As penas, que podem chegar a até 30 anos de prisão, serão definidas após a conclusão da votação.

Em seu voto, a ministra Cármen Lúcia afirmou que há “prova cabal” da participação de Bolsonaro e de ex-integrantes de seu governo em uma “empreitada criminosa” contra a democracia, citando os atos de 8 de janeiro de 2023 como parte de um plano articulado para tentar impedir a alternância de poder após as eleições de 2022.
