Polícia Militar realiza operação na Serrinha e ônibus são usados como barricadas em Madureira

Uma operação do Comando de Operações Especiais (COE) da Polícia Militar na comunidade da Serrinha, na Zona Norte do Rio, desencadeou uma série de ações criminosas que afetaram a mobilidade urbana em Madureira, na manhã desta terça-feira (15).

Segundo a Rio Ônibus, criminosos utilizaram 10 ônibus municipais e 4 articulados do BRT como barricadas na Avenida Edgard Romero. Veículos foram tomados e posicionados em vias estratégicas para dificultar o avanço das forças de segurança. Além disso, caçambas de lixo foram atravessadas nas ruas e incendiadas.

O Centro de Operações Rio informou que o trânsito na região chegou a ser interditado nos dois sentidos. Por volta das 11h, 15 linhas de ônibus precisaram ser desviadas. A normalização da circulação do BRT ocorreu às 13h20, após equipes mecânicas das empresas realizarem ligações diretas para remoção dos coletivos.

Em decorrência da situação de insegurança, quatro escolas municipais suspenderam suas atividades.

A Polícia Militar informou que o objetivo da ação é reprimir atividades criminosas na região. A comunidade da Serrinha é apontada como reduto de uma facção comandada por Wallace Brito Trindade, conhecido como “Lacoste”.

De acordo com a Rio Ônibus, 78 veículos já foram tomados por criminosos no Rio somente em 2025.
